Safer Internet Day 2018

On the 6^th of Feb pupils at YRP celebrated world internet safety day.

As E-safety governor I took the opportunity to have a guided tour by Mr Edward Davies Acting Headteacher.

This walk involved visiting each year group in the school, from the 3 year olds, right through to the year 6 class.

I was thoroughly impressed with the way that the entire school had embraced world internet safety day, and that it was being discussed in each class, tailored to their age group.

I asked all classes if anyone was willing to give me their passwords, and although a few were tempted, they were quickly reminded by their peers that it was a bad idea!

The older children have created some excellent posters, which really brings to life the importance of internet safety.
